Is Qliksense and Qlikview support Oracle 18c and 19c versions

Hi Team,

We have Qliksense June 2018 Patch 1 and Qlikview 12.10.20600.0 installed.

Will existing Qlik version support the Oracle 18c/19c and also will there be any changes need on the Qlik side.??

Thanks,
Jishnu

Hi,

It depends on the type of connection being used.

  • If you use the built-in Qlik ODBC Connector package in Qlik Sense (needs installation in QlikView), then it supports  Oracle 11.2 and 12c. More info at help site https://help.qlik.com/en-US/connectors/Subsystems/ODBC_connector_help/Content/Connectors_ODBC/Oracle...
  • If you use ODBC and OLE DB drivers, then Qlik doesn't state a support version for such drivers. As long as you are able to create ODBC / OLE DB connection and successfully load data to a client like Excel, the same connection should work in Qlik.

Hope this helps,
