LEF EXPIRED error on Qlikview Server 12.40 SR2 QMC

Bonjour,

Sur notre serveur il y a la licence qui semble dépassée car il s'affiche: "lef expired 30/06/2021" alors que nous souhaitons faire la MAJ vers la version 12.60.

Comment faire disparaitre ce message d'erreur?

Cdt. Christophe RICHARD.

Hello,

I have moved this post under QlikView for further visibility as it is not related to Qlik Sense. Checking your issue's description I can see that you want to upgrade and you are experiencing an issue where you are getting the message "lef expired 30/06/2021". This particular issue was already addressed in a couple of other posts, please allow me to share with you the reference links:

  1. In "Lef expires or Lef expired displayed in QlikView Management console alert banner" [1], it is stated that "If you have not renewed your maintenance contract, this is expected and working as designed. Although the banner reads, the system remains working, but cannot be upgraded or supported by Qlik."
  2. In "QlikView Update when LEF is expired" [2], the answer is pointing to another article "Upgrading or Licensing QlikView with an expired Maintenance Contract" [3], which explains what happens when you try to upgrade or license QlikView with an expired Maintenance Contract.
  3. Additionally in the same post [2] where the article is shared, another answer has the details regarding the use of  "Manual LEF Checker" to see if you will be able to upgrade or not.

I hope that this information was helpful. In case I have misunderstood the use case scenario, please elaborate in details by providing additional information. However, if it has helped you resolve the issue, please mark it as accepted solution to give further visibility to other community members.
