Metadata-Based Approach for Qlik Lineage Connector on Cloud
For the Qlik lineage connector, it works well when all QVDs are available on the server, since we can provide the server location and it helps create lineage and upload that to the cloud. However, this option is not available on the cloud.
I was thinking — if we could leverage metadata to obtain the dataset ID of a QVD, then perhaps we could create a dynamic link and redirect to the lineage of the dataset.
Could you please advise if this approach is possible, or suggest alternative ways to achieve lineage creation on the cloud?
