Newbie Question - Prepare Menu Disappeared???

Hi all.  I'm new to Qliksense, so I might be doing something very simple, wrong but I can't find the answer anywhere, and no one I've asked knows the answer.

I've been using Qlik for a few weeks without any issues... but all of a sudden, the dropdown for my "Prepare" menu has gone from dashboards I've already created, but its there for any new ones.

I've spend ages creating a dashboard that I can just refresh every month, so I really don't want to have to build it from scratch every time...  I just want to be able to upload a new dataset and refresh the visuals.  but without the Data Load Editor from the Prepare Menu I can't upload a new sheet.

In the screenshot above I have no dropdown menu for the prepare menu.  I've tried unpublishing the report and seeing if it appears but it doesn't... the prepare menu is only available from new dashboards.  Why is this?  I used to be able to access it so I'm completely stumped at how to get it back...

Please can anyone help???

Hello @davehutchinson , in this case will probably need to modify the security rules to add a custom rule to allow access to the editor on a published App.

Please see the following article:
https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/Security-Rule-Example-Allow-access-to-Data-L...

I do want to express caution here because when you customize this bit of governance you open yourself up to the possibility of adding too much data or creating problems with the data model, which could cause environment instability.  In general you should develop in Development and test, and once tested, deploy into Production where you would limit future changes to the app.  A better suggestion might be to make a copy of the App in 'My Work', then change and 'Publish and Replace' when needed.

I hope that helps!
Best,

Jay
