Not able to connect with Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server

Hi,

I am trying to connect to SQL Server with "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server" in Qlik Sense. I have full access on SQL Server that I'm trying to connect to from Qlik Sense. But my OLE DB connection manager on Qlik Sense throws an error saying "Test Failed". I can't make out the cause of error. Could anybody help? Also, if I were to check the Qlik Sense log files for this failure details, which log file should I be looking in?

Is the driver installed on the machine were Qlik Sense is running?

Can you connect to the SQL Server from the machine where Qlik Sense is running?

Are you using the correct credentials from Qlik Sense?

Yes driver is installed. I also tested connectivity to DB server from OLE DB provider using udl file (as in this link: Basics first : "UDL Test" – A Technical Evangelist's Guide to "Microsoft Azure" Galaxy). Its connecting ok when I try through udl on qlik server. But its not connecting at all from qlik sense hub.

Did you ever figure this our? I'm having the same issue with an Oracle OLE DB connection and not sure what to do!
