we are experimenting with QLIK Forts but are facing problems with assigning IP-Addresses to our appliances. I found this part to be quite poorly documented. I have experimented with running the VM on a series of diferent Type2 hypervisors, namely VMWare Workstation, Virtual Box and Hyper-V. I can only ocaasioanlly get an IP-Address for the appliance on VMWare and not on the other virtualization platforms despite all being deployed in a DHCP environment.
Question:
Does any of you know how exactly the IP addressing works in Forts? What's the underlying technology? Is there a way to pass static IP address configuration if deployed in a non-DHCP environment?
