Is there any way where we can prevent QVD from getting re-written accidently.

I'm afraid that QVD has the functionality to prevent being overwritten.
You may need a system to back up a file to a different place.
QVD as QVF files are files that get updated based on what is performed by the App developer. As such they follow the same logic where the admin/developer should have backup copies. More information on restoring Apps, conditional reload and qvd best practices is available under links below:
