I've followed all instuctions, got the key and registered it on the QMC.
Service is running but the Status stays disconnected. What could be the issue?

Maybe the server where you tried was not supported.

You might want to check the Qlik Data Gateway logs, it might provide you some clues.
Logs are located here:
C:\Program Files\Qlik\ConnectorAgent\data\logs

What is the Windows version where is installed Qlik Data Gateway ?
Also, do you have any other product installed in the same server than Data Gateway ?
