Qlik Data Transfer on Windows Server - problems with connections

Hi,

I would like to use Qlik Data Transfer (QDT) to prepare data for Qlik Sense Saas (Cloud). My aim is to use apps (qvf files) and make connections with Oracle Database. QDT is installed on Windows Server to work independently. 

There is a problem, when it comes to Qlik Data Transfer. Connections and data sources from qvf apps have to added to Qlik Sense Desktop, but Qlik Sense Desktop cannot be installed on Windows Server.

Do you know any workarounds or solusions in this situation?

Hi, you can install QS Desktop in any other computer that has access to the data sources, that could be your own working computer, there edit the qvf to add the data connections and copy the edited qvf to the computer with QDT or to a shared folder where QDT has access.
