Qlik Sense 3.1.2 and Netsuite ODBC
The ODBC works and connects if you test the connection via ODBC Data Source Administrator. The error occurs when trying to either create a ODBC connection or use the existing connection that are in applications.
Problem:
Loading the data you get this error on the Data Load progress page:
Connector connect error: ***
The error occurred here:
?
Environment:
The ODBC connection works fine on our production 2.2.4 version
The ODBC data connection stopped working after upgrading from 2.2.4 to 3.1.2 in our development environment which was the same version as production initially.
Editing the connection and entering the credentials, the error is "ErrorCode:11043"...
Has anyone had this issue with the latest version and Netsuite?

We saw in the latest release (3.2.4) that Qlik "fixed" the issue with Netsuite ODBC so everything is right with the world. After sending many messages that something was wrong they finally owned up to it and fixed the issue...

We have the same issue. We have also tried it with 3.1.4.

I've tried putting in a support "ticket" but the only response we got from our vendor and Qlik is that somehow "we" have to get Netsuite to upgrade their ODBC connector. Qlik's position is that it's their problem, not theirs...They knew this was a problem and should have documented it in the upgrade documentation so we wouldn't have upgraded.
Workaround: I'm developing a data mart using SSIS and will connect to Netsuite in that manner.

Try giving full rights to the driver files for the Qlik service user and try it.

Hi All,
We were experiencing this error using Qlik Sense Desktop version 3.1 SR3 while trying to connect to a different database vendor; it turned to be the account password has special characters, like the @ sign, it worked fine after changing the account password using just alphabetical and numerical characters (no special characters).
If you are experiencing this error, try to avoid special characters in your login credentials (account and password)
Hope this helps,

I changed my Netsuite password to use caps and no special characters...we still have the problem... That was a good suggestion we didn't think of doing...

Sorry about your ODBC issues. The problem with ODBC is the amount of IT support it takes to manage. AN AWESOME alternative is using saved searches that will live connect with your Qlik instance. Check out Tactical Connect - the alternative we use.

We have worked with our customers who use NetSuite and Qlik and built a NetSuite connector for Qlik Sense to take advantage of not only NetSuite but Open Air if you happen to use this module as well. Feel free to download it and try it out: Crunch Data
