We were trying to setup some job to extract some data from Google Big Query. However when doing so from the local desktop it keeps throwing the below error
ODBC Wrapper: Unable to connect to ODBC data source: [Qlik][DriverSupport] (1120) SSL verification failed because the server host name specified for the connection does not match the "CN" entry in the "Subject" field or any of the "DNS Name" entries of the "Subject Alternative Name" field in the server certificate.
I upgraded the local desktop version to Feb 2024 SR2 but the same issue happened there as well.
Tried setting up the ODBC using "Simba ODBC Driver for Google BigQuery" but it was throwing error as "Access blocked: BigQuery Client Tools’s request is invalid".
Finally tried using Qlik Cloud to connect to Google Big Query and it was working but I won't be able to download the data securely when using Qlik Cloud.
Our plan is to setup the Google Big Query connection using reverse proxy. However looking at these issues would appreciate if someone has setup the Google Big Query connection from an On-Prem windows server?
