Qlik Sense Desktop creating table locks on source data

My app in QSD is using a SQL view.  Whenever I have the app open it is creating table locks on the SQL source tables.  I just recently upgraded to 3.0 and don't recall this happening in previous versions.  Any suggestions, the table lock issue means I can't work in the app while users are posting transactions via our ERP into my source tables.
