Is there a roadmap for SAP Connector releases?

When Query and Report Connectors will be officially available for Qlik Sense ?

Hi,

Unfortunately we do not have a date that I can share relating to the release of the Report or Query connector to be natively available in Qlik Sense. 

We are however constantly evaluating the priority of feature requests, so appreciate your feedback. As an alternative, script generated through QlikView, using either of those connectors can be executed within Qlik Sense.

I am also waiting urgently for the implementation of the SAP Report and Query Connector in Qlik Sense. Is there an update? For me it is currently not comprehensible that the Qlik SAP Connector is advertised together for Qlik View and Sense, but essential functionalities for Qlik Sense are missing.

Hi Dean,

We are currently heading down the road to implement S4/Hana in the cloud.  We have been using the SAP connector now for about 10 years.  Does Qlik have anything in the pipeline to connect to S4/Hana in the cloud?  We hate to use the REST API due to it being so slow.  Thanks

To use SAP Report and Query connectors on qliksense you have to use QlikView to generate the load scripts then copy and paste the script on QlikSense.

Then you have to change your connection string by adding the QvSAPReportConnector.dll full path; refer to the attached document for more details.

We're using Report and Query connectors on QlikSense since years and everything works great!

Hello and thanks for your interest.  No I have not received any responses.  In the next couple of weeks we are planning on standing a S4/HANA tenant up in the cloud.  Once this happens I will install the new transports and test the most current SAP connector release (7.X).  I will keep you posted on how things go.  Thanks Thom
