SQL FAILOVER PARTNER
I was trying to use the Failover Partner part in the SQL Connection string, but this doesn't seem to work? Tried both adresses as first connection, both work, but when the database is in failover and the parameter failover partner ( or failover_partner, tried both ) is given, it doesn't switch to the other server.
I've found a workaround on this forum, creating 2 SQL connections and with a IF THEN statement, try the second one when the first connection fails..
Then I have a problem that I can't save a SQL connection when Qlik can't connect.. So I have to configure the primairy connection, then failover the database, then configure the failover connection. Would be nice to be able to save the connection even though Qlik can't connect to it.
