At Qonnections 15 I met quite a few vendors with Hadoop connectors. I was also advised that Qlik Sense 2.0 will have a native Apache Spark connector meaning there is no need to use any other software.
The PDF below shows some new stuff from Spark but makes no mention of Qlik, only SparkR for R.

Does anyone know if Spark is the way to go and if we wait a few weeks until Qlik Sense 2.0 GA will accessing Hadoop be both simple and quick with Spark?
Note: This is all conjecture and for Marketing purposes for me, as I do not have access to an Hadoop environment.
