User DSN not showing up for ODBC connection

Hello I am trying to create an ODBC connection between SQL Server and Qliksense. So far, I have used the odbcad32.exe app to create a User DSN ODBC data source. As it is a company database, It is automatically logged into using the Windows login and is configured using the TCP/IP libraries and a dynamic port. This is as much detail as I think is relevant. When I open up Qliksense and try to connect to the ODBC data source, the data source does not show up at all. How can I fix this?

Further info: I am unable to set up a System DSN as per company restrictions. I have tried accessing this SQL Server data base in Access. It works fine there. I also have the SQL Server driver installed (version 6.01.7601.17514).

Why are you using 32 Bit ODBC
Is your system 32 bit?

My system is 64-bit but only odbc32.exe (ODBC Administrator) shows up in the directory. The SQL server connection works fine when connected to Microsoft Access but not to QlikSense. Would it matter what SQL Server driver I have installed? I have an old version but I don't think this matters much as Qlik is web based (runs on a separate server). Am I right?

I have downloaded and installed SQL server with driver version 11 but this made no impact. The SQL server database I want to connect to is actually remote. Its not on my system so I guess that's why the driver didn't matter. Any ideas? I can access the database in other apps. I only have this problem with QlikSense. Please help
