Users aanmaken via Excel user directory connector

Good evening,

I hope someone can help me with the following problem.

For our customer I need to create users through a Excel user directory connector.

First I have downloaded and installed the 64bit access/excel ODBC driver.

(Downloaded it at this website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=54920)

After that I created the 64bit System DSN ODBC connection to the specific file.

I created the file with two sheets:

Sheet1(Blad1)

With the column names:

userid, name

Blad1.PNG

Sheet2(Blad2)

With the column names:

Userid, type, value

Blad2.PNG

Then I created an App and a ODBC connection to the Excel database.

Then I put in the script and reloaded the users.

Then I created an user directory connection with (Excel (Via ODBC)).

When I put in the right settings and clicked on apply I got the following error message.

Also I tried the same with a access file and I get the same error message.

Can someone explain what I am doing wrong and how I can fix this problem.

Thanks for your help.

Greetings

Nick

Hi Guys,

Problem solved.

I used the wrong driver.

first I had installed the Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 Redistributable driver.

This driver did not work for me.

After that i installed the 2012 version but forgot to delete the 2016 version.

after i removed both and installed the 2012 version it worked.

Greetings Nick.
