connection to SAS via OLE DB - manually edit settings?

i can connect to SAS via OLE DB using Qlikview and Excel as a tester, however my server setup requires me to not use the default metadata server and type this in manually before i add the connection data source. This works fine in Qlikview and Excel as you can select the provider (SAS IOM 9.3) then skip the connections tab and untick Default for metadata in advanced and type this info in. once you type this in you can then select the data source on the connections tab - test connection and works ok.
however on qliksense as you cannot skip that step it doesn't work. is there a way to manually edit these settings in the .ini files or somehow add this connection string manually?
