Can we add a physical machine to existing VM qlik cluster

Hi All,

We have a requirement where we are planning on adding a physical machine of 512 GB ram to an existing Virtual machine cluster.

Our current specifications:

1 central node (64GB ram - VM)

1 Rim node (64GB ram - VM)

New Rim node (512 GB Ram - Physical machine) will be dedicated for 2 streams.

My question is that can we add a physical machine to a VM cluster or not ? If not recommendations please. what can be done in this situation

Umakanth,

I am not 100% sure what the ask is here. If the ask is whether you can have a multi-node Qlik Sense environment where some of the nodes are physical servers whereas others are virtual servers, then the answer is yes.

Does that answer things?
