Database IP range listening

Hej,

I currently have a single node installation. I now want add a new node, meaning I want to extend the Database IP range listening on the Central node.

Is it possible to extend the IP range listening installed on a already installed central node? Or does it require a fresh installation?

Thanks in advance,

Hello @pauljohansson

You do not need a fresh installation always when adding a new node. You can directly make changes to the two files postgresql.conf and pg_hba.conf to make other nodes to listen to the database.

Please follow the exact steps to tweak the parametes and calculations mentioned in the below article for other nodes to listen to database.
