Documents are not updating in Access Point

Hi,

We have qlikview server installed and some tasks for reloading the data.But, after the reload is completed those documents are not updated in the Access Point.

This is the case with all the documents and not for any single document that has issues.

We are using QlikView May 2024 version currently.

 

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Hi @Raju_6952,

Are you using Publisher or the Reload Engine?

Were these apps successfully reloading previously and suddenly stopped? Or, is this a new QV Server and reloads have never run successfully?

Are the reload tasks for these apps successful? Suggest you check the task logs for more information. Can you post a failed task log here?

We are using Publisher and its new setup we are testing the configuration .

Tasks are completed successfull in qlikview qmc .

So this task fails with error SourceDocumentNotFoundException: Could not find SourceDocument (Distribution). The typical reasons for this error are as follows:

  • The data source is currently in use by Publisher or another application - check to see if \\xxxxxxx\Qlik\Source_Documents\Eminence\Shared\QVD Builders\Ext01_Campaign_Member_Incremental_Load.qvw is still in use by Publisher
  • Anti-virus (or other file scanning software) has a file lock on this source file - refer to article QlikView Folders and files to exclude from antivirus scanning
  • The account running the QlikView Distribution Service (QDS) doesn't have the appropriate permissions to the source file - in Windows File Explorer check to see if the QDS service account has permissons to the whole path \\xxxxxxx\Qlik\Source_Documents\Eminence\Shared\QVD Builders\Ext01_Campaign_Member_Incremental_Load.qvw

Does the Ext01_Campaign_Member_Incremental_Load.qvw file reload successfully in QV Desktop?

Hi @Chip_Matejowsky ,

Its just sample even the task finished successfully also not updated in Access Point, we are having Multionode setup we have four QDS running.
