Execution session found but task not running in the slave scheduler, session deleted.

After updating to Qlik Sense April we receive the following message in the QMC/Tasks: Execution session found but task not running in the slave scheduler, session deleted. Apps will not reload anymore.

We can update without a problem apps manually buth not anymore from the QMC.

The status after running a app is ...reset.

Strange thing, is seems like the apps are updating. Buth the status is still ...reset

The error message is likely benign as it just suggests that the task likely was running when the system was taken down and that the status thus needed to be reset. That shouldn't affect the ability to run the task further times (on the contrary) and without more detail (log messages and so on) it's hard to tell anything about why the status isn't further updated.

Unfortunately we have same problem with scheduled tasks.

Manual reload works fine but from scheduled task we have a problem.

We have one environment Prod, it means one server, so one Central server, we have configured Scheduler (Master and slave) we tried several options and hints but without success.

If the problem persist then logs as well as a more detailed description of the issue is needed to diagnose the issue. The message mentioned by the original poster is not by itself indicative of any problem.

This is because of permission issue on "C:\ProgramData\Qlik" folder. Also, you will face an error like "On-demand app error" when you try to open/create a new app in hub. So, please do the following...

- Replace all child permissions on the "C:\ProgramData\Qlik" folder with the service account running the qlik services.

Hope this will help you.
