Migrating Existing Users to New Virtual Proxy

Hello,

I am migrating my users to a new login system (Auth0). My new virtual proxy is set up to support SAML and adding new users works fine. (They are created upon login, as expected).

Migrating existing users is more of a challenge. I would like the keep the user ID (the internal one in UUID format) so users do not lose their data through the migration. Sense does not allow me to change user directory or user id (the one labelled "User Id" in the QMC) via the QMC or via the QRS API. Is there a way to safely migrate my users without messing with the Postgres DB and without creating a new user and deleting the old one?

Thanks,

A

Hi @anna_  these Qlik articles might be of help to you, not sure as you have not provided any detail of the IDP deployed.
