I have upgraded a QS 3.2.4 system to the November 2017 release. The QS 3.2.4 system was configured for synchronized persistence and was not converted to shared persistence. I followed the instructions to prepare for converting as described on Upgrading and migrating from synchronized to shared persistence ‒ Qlik Sense. When I ran the November2017 installer I did not see any option Upgrade with Shared Persistence. The only option available was Upgrade. As far as I can tell the system is now running QS November 2017 in synchronized persistence mode. What gives? And how can I convert this system to shared persistence?
Hi gwassenaar,
I have a doubt.
I am planning to upgrade 3.2.4 to November 2017.
But my previous installation in single node and I want to upgrade to Multinode November 2017.
Is there any challenge while doing this?
I just did this very thing. Just be careful to follow the directions exactly.
Hi All
I need your help and suggestion.. I am working on upgrading the Qlik Sense 3.2 SR2 to November Release. As per above I got a sense that November 2017 is a multi-node system, however Qlik Sense 3.2 SR2 is a single Node system.
Is there any impact on installing it? If yes how?
I am trying to find out some white paper which help to upgrade the latest release. Could some-one of you please provide me that?. That would be very helpful to me
Regards
Deepanshu
You can install November 2017 as Single Node server also.
