QLIK app reload issue
Hi Team,
We are facing this problem where reload tasks are failing intermittently with below messages in the log. This problem happens randomly for any reload task and sometimes it happens within few minutes of starting the task. We are using default task session timeout of 1440 minutes for all the scheduled tasks.
20240827T093201.736+0200 User abort
20240827T093201.747+0200 Execution Failed
20240827T093201.750+0200 Execution finished.
We even tried to increase the hardware configuration by increasing the number of cores on the Windows VM but the problem still remains. If we try to reload the failed tasks then they work fine. Can anyone provide any suggestions on what else can be changed to fix this problem. The problem has started happening only recently.
Initial configuration:
Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6152 CPU @ 2.10 GHz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
After hardware upgrade:
Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6152 CPU @ 2.10 GHz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)

@inrahbis what version of QlikSense is this for?
There can be a ton of reason a reload might fail, is it happening across lots of different apps or just specific ones?

Based on the log snippet you provided, it seems the task reload time is reaching it's limit. Have tried extending the reload time limit?

Thanks for your reply. Yes its happening randomly across all apps. I mean any app can fail when reloaded through task scheduler in QMC and if the task is re-run then it works fine. The problem is happening on QlikSense Server version 12.1036.10.
I have just now reloaded an app through QMC task scheduler and it has failed again. I have attached the script reload log in this comment.

Thanks for your reply. The task reload time limit is set at 1440 minutes. But the task reload is failing within few minutes of execution.

@inrahbis can you confirm the version (year/month) of your system - according to that task log your version is 12.10, which I believe dates back to 2018, very old and no longer supported unfortunately.
Suggest you upgrade and see if that resolves the issue:
If you want to troubleshoot this old version, you could look for issues in the Scheduler logs:
C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Scheduler\Trace

Thanks for your reply and sorry for late reply. We have upgraded the QlikSense server to Version 14.187.4 but still the reload tasks are failing intermittently with below errors in the script log:
User abort (Socket closed by client)
Execution Failed
Execution finished
