Qlik Sense Enterprise Upgrade for Security Vulnerability Issue

Hi,

We have Qlik Sense installed in our organisation and we are currently on February 2022 Patch 3.

We have been notified that there is a high-severity security vulnerability issue affecting Qlik Sense Enterprise software that could potentially be exploited. We were informed that we should address the issue promptly by installing the latest patch for supported versions of Qlik Sense.

There are 2 questions:

1. Based on the current Qlik Sense version we have, are we affected by this security vulnerability issue?

2. What are the steps to upgrade so we can counter this vulnerability issue?

Hello,

you need to upgrade to at least August 2022 latest patch to be secure

but given that this version also is soon out of support and we have additional vulnerabilities

the best way is to upgrade to February 2023, then May 2024 last patch. Make sure to uninstall the patch before you start the first upgrade.
