Our team is in the middle of installing a Qlik Sense environment and has hit a snag. We continue to see an issue (using the generic LDAP connector) where users are not being populated in the system, but groups come across fine. We are fairly certain that this is not due to our filtering syntax. One difference between our user and group directory entries is the distinguishedName format that is being returned. Groups are returned with the "cn=name,ou=groupou,c=domain,u=us" format whereas person distinguishedNames come across as "uid=name,ou=groupou,c=domain,u=us". This seems to work fine in our QlikView environment, but Qlik Sense appears to not like this. Does anyone have any experience pulling in users with a dn format of 'uid=' in Qlik Sense? We would very much appreciate any assistance.
