I would like to seek advice regarding Qlik Sense login authentication method. Currently in our environment, we set "Forms" windows authentication pattern in the virtual proxy. The reason we use this pattern is because that we want to force logout and prompt login every time the session ends. We noticed that if we use "Windows" pattern, every time the session ends it will logout, but after clicking login it will automatically login using the last logged in user without prompting any login.
Appreciate it if you guys could give some advice on these:
1. If using "Windows" pattern, is there a way to force logout every time the session ends? Also, is it possible to force login prompt every time a user want to login?
2. If using "Forms" pattern, is there a way to set the domain name as a prefix? This is so that the users will only input username and password without input the domain name.
I don't have the answers to your questions (although I strongly believe that the answer to no 2 is "no") but I am curious: why do you want to force logout and make it more difficult for users to log in?
The reason why we wanted to force logout is because the management have some concerns regarding unauthorized access. We would like to ensure that once every session ends, it will be fully logged out so that there's no risk of unauthorized access for machines that are running Qlik Sense.
