Qlik Sense Server Installation - upon completion, repository failed to start

HI guys,

I am installing Qlik Sense Server 3.1 SR3.

Upon the server install completion,  in the installation summary,  it says

the Repository failed to start.

why does it says that?????

Change Start up type of Qliksense Services to Automatic instead of Automatic (Delayed) and Restart Server.

you mean , click Finish. then continue to restart the server???

i have tried restarted the server.  none of the servcies are up.

i have tried to start qlik sense engine service - couldnt start as well ,prompted msg saying "windows could not stsart the Qlik Engine Service on locsl Computer"

Error 1068: The Dependency service or group failed to start.

once you install qliksense it is giving you error that service could not start.

Click on Finish.

Go to Services - > Search Qliksense Services -> Right click on each service - > Properties - > Change Start up type to Automatic from Automatic(Delayed) -> Apply the setting.

Restart the Server and go to Services and check status of Qliksense Services

Have a look for errors in repository logs and paste it here.

What is he startup type of Services?

And check whether UserID you have installed with has rights to start services?

Add that user in administrators group.

The server is joined to domain network. i have tried creating a local service account to run the services. So during the installation, i used the local service account to manage the servcies.

upon the completion, the summary says - repository failed to start.

I have added the local service account into the Administartors Group.

I tried to manually startup the services with local service account logon. But none of those services can be started up.

I think could be the company domain level security issues???

Yes it can be.

I had the same issue but changing the service startup type to automatic solved it.

nope. i have tried that too.  before i restarted the server i have changed all the services startup automatcially.

but after restarted, the services that using local service account , is still the couldnt start.
