QlikSense, New Virtual proxy URL not working, I get internal server error (500)

HI,

I am using Qliksense enterprise, multi-node, clustered environment.

I just created an additional virtual proxy with prefix as "Test" connected to my Production proxy. Please see the screens below.

Now when I try to access like https://qlikserver/test/hub/my/work, I get internal server error (500), please see the last screen shot.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Appreciate your help!!

Thanks Alan for the link.

I followed the exactly the same steps but I am unable to access the hub using the new created Virtual Proxy.

The only thing here is, this new virtual proxy is not any node, meaning there are no proxy service or other qliksense services are running, please see the screen below. This is linked to Production proxy service, please see the screen further below.

Any other thoughts why hub is not accessible using this new virtual proxy?

Thanks

Can you attach a screenshot of each step you did to create the virtual proxy and did you add the urls and ip addresses to the whitelist?

Hi Alan, please find the attached document. Let me know if you additional information.

Also, the Authentication changes to the following on my new virtual proxy though I remove the entry and set it to blank.

But all other default virtual proxy has the following:

Hi jpjust, from what I can see you did not follow the article. The session cookie is incorrect and I did not see IP addresses and URLs in whitelist.

Hi Alan, Good catch. Thanks for your help.

X-Qlik-Session-vizlib made it work, I had like this before (under score)  X-Qlik-Session_vizlib

After I change, it works. Also I added "Host allow list" of all the qliksense proxy URL's. I am not sure what this does though? Can you please provide me some explanation to this?

Another issue is, on the authentication area of the VP, on Authentication module redirect URI, it auto enters my domain\username

My other VP's are like below.

How do I fix it?

Hi jpjust, glad to hear that your VP is working. Information about the whitelist can be found under this link in the advance sections:

I am not sure why your domain\userid is showing in the URI redirect. I would suggest opening your browser in incognito mode for testing.

Hi Alan - I don't see that issue with incognito. Do you know why?

Thanks

Hi jpjust, incognito does not cache history. So if you clean your browser cache from the beginning of time it should work.
