Hi to all,
i've got a question regarding the "Export Overview" tab of the "Operation Monitor" app.
In this sheet we can see all exports made by the users but only for PDF and PNG export format.
XLS exports are not logged... there is anyone who know why ?
Yes, sorry for the delay. While this information is not currently in the operations monitor, it does appear that it can be found if you increase the log verbosity for the engine service. I'm a little hesitant to do this as I fear this will create a large log footprint, but it appears to be the best solution at this time.
Response from qlik (thanks M.T.):
This is currently possible if you enable Audit Logging > Info verbosity in the QMC. Restart the engine(s) and then check the C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\Engine\Audit\.....auditactivity_enginexx.txt files. They will contain the excel export information.

Thanks.
did u solved this problem?
i have the same
Hi Giorgi,
Not yet, when i find a solution/answer i'll update the post.
We are seeing the same behavior. On inspection, it appears that the Export to Excel functionality may be using a browser based solution to transform the JavaScript objects into an Excel format without contacting the Printing Service. This means that there will be no log files created on the server for the Operations Monitor to reference . We would like the ability to see this data for data loss prevention and general user interaction analysis. We'll be submitting a feature request if possible. I'll let you know what I hear back from Qlik.
This will be very helpful ! Thank you Johann, i'll wait your news!
is there any helpfull idea from qlik ?
