QlikSense RIM node showing stopped status in QMC but the services are running fine in server

In an multimode architecture , QMC status of one of the RIM node is Stopped stating the engine is down. When checked from the server , all the services are running fine. Any reason for this inconsistency of QlikSense QMC.

Although the Windows Service is running it could be a problem to communicate to the Repository service, therefore the error in the QMC, by any chance have you checked the logs to see what is recorded there?

One option could be to use the qrs/ServiceStatus API endpoint to get the service status. Please refer to the attached PDF.
