Unable to connect to the Qlik Sense Engine

Hi Experts,

I am getting an issue related to Qlik Sense Server and that is

"Unable to connect to the Qlik Sense Engine. Possible causes: too many connections, the service is offline, or networking issues."

Has anyone faced the above issue. Any recommendations is highly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Ahmed,

so: you are getting to the hub, and then getting this when opening an app? Or are you able to load the hub either.
Has this ever worked before?
I would start by looking into the logs to get more details.

Hi Ahmed

Did you find  any solution or cause for this?

We get the same in our installation for one specific user sofar.

The user has been able to login before.

This started two days ago, and also happened yesterday while the user tries to login.

I checked the logs and the only related record I can find is two INFO level records, first:

"Started synchronizing <userid> for <domain> (xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxx)"

and nine second later:

"Finished synchronizing <userid> for <domain> (xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxx)"

haven't found any related warnings/errors

Hi,

Sorry for replying late to you. I am getting this while opening the apps and this issue happened sometime not continuously. Whenever this happened I need to close my browser and reopen the  hub again.

Can you let me know if you want the logs?

Thanks

Ali

Hi Ahmed,

if it comes to analyzing the logs, then I would suggest that you open a Support case, either with your responsible partner (if you have one) or with Qlik Support (if you are entitled to direct support). This will guarantee you the proper service level.

Please, provide a clear description and use the log collector to get not only the logs but also the system/windows info: https://qliksupport.force.com/articles/000006144

And make sure to include your license number in the case!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Ahmed,

We too faced the same issue and after we cleared cache and history, it started working again.

         Hope this helps!

How do you clear the Qlik cache?

I meant clearing cache of browser's and not of Qlik's.. 😐 I forgot to mention Browser 😞

I have this error for a specific customer. Clearing the cache did not work. The log does not have an error in specific:

it is not possible to connect to a qlik engine: possible causes many open connections, the service is offline or network problems
