I'm experimenting with the new qlik data transfer utility and I ran in a problem with the api key expiration time.
Obviously QDT-Util isn't able to authenticate when teh API-Key is expired, at least i'm getting such a message when i try to authenticate.
I have to create a new API key, copy&paste etc, then it works again.
The problem is i am only able to create API Keys with an expiration time of 6 hours or 1 day in the future.
I can't imagine i have to recreate the API Key everyday to use the QDT Tool?
Does anybody else have the same problem or do i misunderstand something?
Thank you, indeed it was even possible to set it to 5 years max (1825 days). Was simply unaware of the possibility, thanks for your advise, highly appreciated.
I have a doubt, this time expiracy olnly is available in a Trial version or only in full version of Qlik Sense Business Cloud?
In this moment only saw a day as maxim lengh expiracy (trial version)
G'day @Benito_Sanchez ,
It worked for me on our trial cloud version. The drop-down only shows values up to 1 day but you can type in much larger values as well.
Cheers,
Barnaby.
i'm having a different problem. i installed the Data Transfer app and generated a data transfer API key. i saved this API key to a text file on my desktop. however, when i try to authenticate the API key, i can copy the key from my desktop but it won't let me paste the key into the API key box in the Setup Qlik Data Transfer app.
has anyone experienced this problem?
thanks.
