Beyond Java, what Could Python add to Talend?
Hello everyone,
I'm quite comfortable with Talend (ESB / DI) now. I can also, if needed, develop a custom Jar using Eclipse (for instance), with Maven, import it in a job, and do nice things beyond what Talend allows to do. That's nice.
I hear that Python is quite nice to do things. I think that I could create Python scripts, and run them using a tSystem.
However, I don't know what would Python bring on the table, beyond what is already possible using Java, and a custom development via Eclipse or IntelliJ.
I would be happy if you gave me your point of view, with some example if possible 🙂

You can use Python with Talend Pipeline Designer. The question you are asking about the pros and cons of Java vs Python can be answered by using Google.
