How to upload a file on microsoft sharepoint online

I have checked all the posts in the community forum and nothing gives full information. Hence i am posting this again to get detailed information on file upload to SharePoint.

As talend still in progress of creating components for file upload/download from SharePoint. I heard there is some alternate solution with restclient/httprequest components that we can achieve file upload. If anyone created this process please help me with step by step approach or job export also helpful.

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

In addition to that, the solution template Talend Integration with Microsoft SharePoint written by Talend's experts during Q3 2020, is available on Talend Academy.

Talend offers a wide range of REST API components that use HTTP requests to GET, PUT, POST, and DELETE data. This template shows you how to use Microsoft Graph, a RESTful web API that allows you to access Microsoft Cloud service resources, to create folders, and download and upload files to SharePoint using Talend.

To access the instructions, and a downloadable archive file containing customizable code and projects that you can import into Talend Studio, log in to Talend Academy:

CustomersTalend Academy, then scroll down and click the Solution Templates tile.

PartnersPartner Academy, then scroll down and click the Solution Templates tile.

Best regards

  • Drag files to your OneDrive or SharePoint site library
  • Open the OneDrive or SharePoint site library.
  • On your computer select Start Windows and then type File Explorer.
  • Navigate to the folder with the documents that you want to upload.
  • Drag the files to the space in the SharePoint library where it says drag files here. The library should display "Drop here" when you hover the file over it.
  • You should see your files appear in the Document library.
