Kafka behaviour in talend

Designing a near- real time streaming within studio with a standalone framework advisable? Or bigdata streaming would be an ideal approach??

How differently will Kafka behave in these two scenarios.

What's your job requirement? It depends on your job background and use case.

If you are trying to set up Talend Studio using Spark to work with Kerberized Kafka that is supported by Hortonworks, big data streaming would be an ideal approach.
