Need suggestion on minimising license cost by using opensource for deployment and run

Hi

I wanted to use talend enterprises studio to generate design and build the code as standalone artifact's.

Above artifact's would like to run for multiple clients using windows command line /Jenkins/EKS/Docker or any other opensource tool.

Now the question comes it may be stupid one but would like to clear my confusion

Do I need to pay for one enterprises license or need to pay for each customer deployments.

Thanks

Ashish

Hello,

There might be a slight difference between talend open solution and talend subscription solution in license agreement. However, you don't need to pay for each of your customers as you just need to run the genearted code in their premise.

Talend provides user with free trail solution as well. Many evaluations are for the DI Studio trial, and the Big Data Sandbox licenses, which are auto-generated from license manager. There may be other 30-day evaluation licenses that are generated for the customer, those are issued by the Sales team.

To get more details and information on license cost, you'd better contact our sales team.

Thanks for the reply!

To be more clear just I need to pay for one enterprise license (studio+tac+runtime) and I can run that generated code to multiple customer premises using open source tools.

There is no restriction on the of license agreement ?

Thanks

Hello,

It looks like you are looking for Talend ESB (studio+tac+runtime) solution for your job? It includes ESB + iPaas bundles and org.talend.studio.esbee.feature.

As far as I know, we are using LGPL in talend open source and you don't have to public your code unless you re-develop talend as your own product for commercial(for sale).

For talend subscription solution, please contact us sale team for this license agreement.

Probably the last question before I reach out to sales team .

I want to run talend enterprise studio generated code through windows task scheduler or apache airflow in my customer premises. I want to avoid buying enterprise license for each of my customers as I just need to run the genearted code in their premises which I can do that through open source tools.

Also Generated code (artifacts) from talend enterprise studio falls under which License Category GPL,LGPL.. ?

Best Regards
