No "thiveinput" component in Talend Data Management Platform

Hello,

I'm trying to query data from a Hive DB Source. I'm unable to find the tHiveInput component in "Talend Data Management Platform". How do I install it?

Or is there a worked around to query the data from Talend Data Management Platform

hi,

is it subscription or open studio?

if open studio - MDM do not support big data, only Open Studio for Big Data will contain component

Open Studio MDM - similar to Open Studio for Data Integration

@karthiks2,can you check below settings,may you need to add in Talend.

Here is how you can add them to the palette:

1. From the Studio File menu, select Edit Project properties.
2. Expand Designer, then click Palette Settings.
3. Expand all and check the Hive input component then select both of the components in question.

4. Click the arrow icon , then click OK.

@karthiks2,are you looking at correct place? in the designer window type hive and show me in the scerenshot?

I'm looking at the correct place.I can see several folders with components in them but I can't find the Big Data folder here

Unfortunately, I cannot send you a screenshot as Talend is installed in the company PC
