Unable to update or pull down git repository
Ever since yesterday I have been unable to push changes to the git repo, or pull and merge due to this error. It makes literally no sense to me whatsoever. Yesterday I logged into a project in Studio and just did a pull to bring down the latest (I've never used the project before so I had no local files changed etc). Now I just get this error.
I am not a java developer so have no clue what this error is telling me. Can anybody help?
Thanks
Steve

Hi Sw-Iress/all,
We are also facing this update failure issue while doing a pull and merge push into GIT, is there any solutions identified for this issue ? we are frequently facing this kind of issue in studio!.
Please share if any it may help us ?

Hi Tamil,
I fixed this myself in the end by resetting my workspace.
1. Close Talend Studio
2. Go to your Talend Studio install folder and rename the folder called "workspace"
3. Re-launch Studio
All seemed fine after that.
I do get these issues from time to time, and the java errors really do not help at all, so I just got back reset studio every time now when I get errors like this. I do think the Studio developers need to start building more friendly error messages into studio to better explain the true nature of these issues. We are not all java developers able to understand these errors, and don't always have a week to wait for responses from support.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,
Unfortunately I am not able to judge the root cause from this error from the below screenshot. I would suggest to create a Talend Support ticket for your case. They will be able to help you by checking the error remotely using Webex sessions.
Warm Regards,
Nikhil Thampi

Hi Steve,
Yes, that the only way to push my changes, but i have uncommitted changes in my GIT local repo, so i have to export my jobs, create workspace and import there to check again! but trying to get a permanent solution, since many times our team are facing this issue! some times it resolve by itself by restarting somtimes its not!.
Anyway thanks for your inputs, much appreciated !
Thanks
