Use of transfer mode option in sftpget component

My talend job pull files from Remote directory and copy them to local. I need to copy those files in binary mode.But when I check the Sftp support option I see the transfer mode option disappear.
Can any one help how to achieve both scenario?

Have you tried changing the port to 22 (sftp default - or whatever your default is), not checking the sftp box and setting the transfer mode to binary?

I am not using port 22. Just want to know how does that port no impact on this scenario

So far, transfer mode is used for different FTP transfer modes.
Please take a look at component reference: TalendHelpCenter:tFTPGet
