[resolved] Getting firstday of month and last day of month issue

Hi,
I  give "2016-07-14"  as input to get the First day of month and Last day of month. But it is showing 01-01-2016 and 01-31-2016, which is incorrect.
Please find the attached tmap and tlogrow screen shot
I would appreciate your help.

Thank you. I used MM/dd/yyyy format now and got the result. The MM made the difference.
