sftp downloading file and getting corrupted file

Hello,
When I'm downloading a file with the GetFTP with sFTP I'm downloading a .gz file.
When I unarchive that file I get a corrupted file.
When I manually download the file and put it in place and use unarchive it just works.

GetFTP seems to be causing problems..
I already saw here to change the transfer mode but that ain't an option with the sFTP option selected.
I opened the .gz with notepad ++ and checked the encoding and I selected Custom and set "ANSI" to the encoding (as said by Notepad++ but it still ain't working.
The file on it's own is too big (800mb) to open in Notepad++

Am I missing something?

Thanks!

This problem ended up being on the vendors side of the problem. It just took a lot of coordination to prove it to them.

They had a trigger on their ftp server that was touching files and causing them problems.

Hi,
Is it working when you set proper "encoding" in tFTPGet component?

Hello,

Are you able to download the file manually and put it in place and use unarchiver to see if it works?

Best regards

Sabrina
