tFTPFileExist: FTP error 550 Cannot create a file when that file already exists

Hi experts,

I'm facing this error on tFTPFileExist:

tFTPFileExist_1 Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

com.enterprisedt.net.ftp.FTPException: 550 Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

The flow must check in ten source folders (one for each country that has been set in a technical table) for a source file and then must process the file found as defined in the rest of the flow.

I'm facing this problem only for one of the ten source folder. I tried to execute the flow without iterating on the source folder that raises this problem, and the job is executed without this error.

This happens, always on this source folder, also on tFTPGet component.

What do you think could be the problem with this folder? Maybe my user has not the privileges to read
from this folder source?

I'm using Talend Data Services Platform 7.1.1 and the source system is an external system.

Thank you so much for support.

Corinne

Hi,

Could you please share the current job layout screenshots for our reference? This will give us better understanding of the flow.

Please also refer the blow links to get more clarity on the way tTFTPFileExist component works.
