BingMaps as Qlik GeoAnalytic Mapserver?

Hi All,

is it possible to use a Microsoft BingMap Server (incl. SDK) as a QlikView GeoAnalytic Map Server?

Hi Roger,

QGA can consume geodata from sources that follow open standards, we support WMS, TMS, WFS/GML, GeoJSON, WKT and Esri JSON. The Bing map imagery and map tiles APIs are using non-standard TMS that we don't support in the Geodata layer currently. We might add that in the future.

The Bing map server Rest APIs are possible to parse with the Qlik generic rest connector.

Another option for the Bing imagery is to use a proxy in between that converts the Bing maps to a standard TMS or WMS.

Thanks,
