Coloring on Map so that zero value countries have no color at all?

I have built a map showing an area layer for the sales to different countries and it is using the sequential gradient color scheme. However, I am finding it difficult to see the difference between a country with low sales and a country with zero sales becuase the color hardly changes between them.

Is there a way to not have a color against the countries with zero sales at all so that it is easier to distinguish those with no sales from those with low value sales?

In the image attached USA and Canada have low value sales but mexico and south america have zero sales yet they almost look the same.

Can anyone suggest a solution to this please?
