Drill-down dimension with a Shapefile

I'm facing an issue when I try to perform a drill-down dimension using a shapefile. So I want to know if can I perform a drill-down dimension using a shapefile that contains Adm1: Region, Adm3: Comunas as polygons.

The shapefile was made for Comunas, so a group of these it makes a Region.

Any thoughts on this?

Regards in advance

Hi,

Yes that's possible, use the "Dissolve Guide" here https://bi.idevio.com/products/idevio-maps-for-qlik-sense/qlik-sense-2

and merge areas together based on the field "REGION".

The shapefile is large so use "Simplify" to bring it in, see this tutorial: Loading Esri shapefiles in Qlik GeoAnalytics

The CRS is EPSG:32718

See the app for more details.

Thanks,

Patric
