Error: Invalid Key message?

Hi,

I am getting the following error in Qlik Sense Desktop when I try and add the "Idevio Map" component:

Capture.JPG

I ran the clear cache instructions here for QS Desktop: Installation on Qlik Sense Desktop « bi.idevio.com but that had no effect.

The data I am using is the same CSV file here: Qlik GeoAnalytics - Creating a Drill-down Area Map

Any help?

Hi John,

Try a few tests such as this:

Try accessing the following URL in a web browser on the same computer. What do you get?

http://q.idevio.com/ravegeo/webmap5/script/webmap.nocache.js?key=<YOUR_KEY>&opt=tools,iconfactory,geojson,gml

You should get back some obfuscated JavaScript - that will let us know that you are getting outside and nothing is blocking you.

Also check the license key in the extension here:

C:\Users\<userid>\Documents\Qlik\Sense\Extensions\IdevioMap

Edit license.js

You should see:

define([], function () {return '<YOUR LICENSE KEY>';});

let me know how you do.

Could it be a license issue? Are you able to display an empty map in a map object?

Please check out the License.js file to make sure your license key is valid and set in that file.

Hi Joe,

Can you guide me where I can get the licence key?

Please refer me the right URL.

Many Thanks
