The only thing that you will miss is the possibility of adding the Qlik GeoCoding add-on option, which requires an Internet connection. The GeoCoding services is by design an online service.

Hi,
Yes, a standard installation of Qlik GeoAnalytics need an Internet connection
In order to experience a full offline solution the need to get the Qlik GeoAnaltycs Enterprise Server which is a standalone server. They install that server locally and point then QGA Extensions and connector to that server instead of our cloud-based server. The QGA Enterprise server is an add-on subscription.

Could you please help me with the details on Qlik GeoCoding add-on option, do we need to enable this option while installing Qlik GeoAnalytics or this is separate add on?

Please take a look here: https://bi.idevio.com/products/qlik-geocoding
Please note that the GeoCoding is an add-on option. Only needed when you want to geocode (forward and reverse) on street level.

thank you @Jonas_Karlsson for your reply
We have similar type of features available in GeoAnalytics connector i.e. NameAreaLookup and NamePointLookup, does this work same way as GeoCoding i.e. this will need internet?
Also, is GeoAnalytics connector comes with GeoAnalytics Enterprise server setup, correct?

The Named Area/Point lookup data is included in the map data package that you download for offline use with the Enterprise Server.
The QGA Connector is installed in the Qlik Sense environment (server and/or desktop). The connector has to be configured to use the local server instead of the cloud-based one, by default https://maps.qlikcloud.com and has to be changed to http(s)://mylocalQGAserver.mydomain.com
