Name base of Geo Map

Hi,

I try to build a Qlik GeoMap with the countys from Germany.

I've a list with the names of the countys but Qlik does not recognize all of them automatically.

For example:

I've the city 'Aachen' but Qlik need 'Städteregion Aachen' as correct name to show this.

Or 'Leipzig' exists as 'Stadt Leipzig' and 'Landkreis Leipzig' in my list.

'Landkreis Leipzig' works fine but the item 'Stadt Leipzig' Qlik does not know and I need to use only the name 'Leipzig' without 'Stadt'.

Where can I find the official name base of countys for a mapping with my list?

Knowing which name to use

Most entries in the Qlik location database has several aliases, same place different spelling. The best way to find out the main name is use the Qlik GeoAnalytics connector and the "Load" operation. Here's an example to find out all the correct county names in the US:
